The red box that the arrow is pointing to shows where you can find the current article number for a product on the page. The green box shows the code for the finish itself (in this case, SB).
Since we have multiple suppliers, the article number may appear differently depending on the product you're interested in. On some products, the finish is located in the middle (as shown in the image), while on others it is at the end of the article number.
What is particularly important when matching products, such as handles with knobs, is that the products have the same finish code. That means: If a handle has the finish code MB (Matt Brass), the knob must also have the same finish code to ensure the products have the same shade.
If you buy handles and knobs with different finish codes, i.e. from different suppliers, we CANNOT guarantee that the products you receive will have exactly the same shade, even if both products in the item name say "Brass."
The same applies to door handles, hooks, and other products.

Antique brass is a finish characterized by its warm, darker tone and a distinct patina that gives it a classic and aged look. This finish is often achieved by treating brass with a specific alloy or applying a dark surface that mimics natural aging.
Over time, antique brass may develop a more worn or "handcrafted" appearance, giving each item its own unique story.
To maintain the finish, you can choose to lightly polish it to preserve its original look or let it naturally develop for a more rustic and authentic result.
Brushed nickel is a modern and sleek finish characterized by its matte, grayish surface and fine, brushed texture. This finish is achieved by mechanically brushing the surface of the nickel coating, giving it a light texture and a subtle, satin-like appearance.
One of the major advantages of brushed nickel is its durability. It is both corrosion-resistant and highly resistant to wear, which allows it to maintain its appearance over time.
Nickel gives a cool and industrial impression, while still maintaining a sophisticated and modern feel.
Matte black is an elegant and modern finish that has become popular in both contemporary and minimalist interiors. Since the surface is non-reflective, it is more resistant to fingerprints and dirt, making it easier to keep clean than glossy surfaces. Matte black is also highly durable and can be used both indoors and outdoors, making it a popular choice for furniture, door handles, and hardware in kitchens, bathrooms, and furniture. Over time, the matte black finish retains its sophisticated look and does not develop the same type of patina as other metals, making it perfect for those seeking a durable and timeless finish.
Brushed brass is an elegant and timeless finish characterized by a soft, matte surface with a subtle texture. The surface is created by brushing the brass, giving it a smooth yet lightly textured finish. One of the major advantages of brushed brass is that it offers a more subtle and understated look compared to its shiny counterparts.
Unlike polished brass, which develops a patina over time, brushed brass maintains its unique charm without aging in the same way. Brushed brass is particularly popular for kitchens, bathrooms, and furniture, where it adds an exclusive feel.
Matte brass is an elegant and subtle finish that gives brass a soft, non-reflective surface. The finish harmonizes beautifully with other materials such as wood, stone, and marble, making it ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and furniture.
Over time, matte brass develops a natural patina, adding further character and depth to each detail. The matte surface also hides dirt and fingerprints better than shiny finishes, making it easier to maintain. The understated and elegant tone of matte brass makes it a popular choice for those seeking a sleek finish without losing the classic warmth that brass is known for.
PVD gold provides a mirror-like surface that reflects light and creates a dramatic and sophisticated atmosphere. This material is perfect for creating contrasts in a room or highlighting special objects such as door handles, hardware, or decorative details on furniture. Since polished gold is relatively sensitive to scratches and fingerprints, it may require some extra maintenance to maintain its mirror finish. It works well in minimalist environments, where it can serve as an accent element, as well as in more traditional interiors, where it adds a classic and refined impression.
White finish is a clean and stylish surface that adds a fresh and modern feel to all types of interiors. The white color serves as a neutral background and works excellently in both minimalist and classic environments. A white finish reflects light and creates a sense of space, making it perfect for smaller rooms or areas where a light and airy atmosphere is desired. An advantage of a white finish is that it is easy to maintain and keep clean. Since it doesn’t reflect as much as glossy surfaces, it often hides dirt and fingerprints better, making it a practical choice for both kitchens and bathrooms.
Finish – A Key Detail for Your Home's Aesthetic and Function
The finish on interior details such as handles, hardware, and other surfaces plays an important role in defining the style and feel of your home. The right finish can transform a simple object into an eye-catching detail and create a cohesive design throughout the room. Whether you prefer a modern, classic, or rustic style, there is a finish that can enhance the feeling you want to convey.
Metal finishes such as chrome, nickel, brass, and copper can add both warmth and elegance, while matte black or white finishes provide a more subtle and sleek expression. Polished surfaces reflect light and create a luxurious feel, while brushed or matte finishes give a more understated and timeless look. By choosing a finish that harmonizes with the room’s other decor, you can create a unified and thoughtful design.
